Make an international student’s month end on a high note by donating bags of candy and/or delivering a goodie bag to their door in full costume! This is more than giving away candy. We have offered students an opportunity to surprise and serve their friends with a seasonal activity we hope will make them smile.

My boss is really hard to please. I’m not sure what I can do differently.
My classmate just can’t focus on the details! How can we work together?
My roommate gets frustrated with me, but I’m really not sure why.
Would you like to improve your relationships, manage your time better, be more motivated, make wise decisions under pressure, and express your emotions in a healthy way?
These are all related to Emotional Intelligence (EQ), and we are privileged to have guest speakers from Global Leadership Partners (GLP) who will provide world-class training on EQ.
This event is free for you but you will have the option to purchase a t-shirt. Your role in this event is to participate along with the students. You will have an opportunity to accompany a student to their mentoring session, if you desire.
Thanksgiving Day is a superb opportunity for you to show God’s love by sharing your traditions with international students. In addition to sharing your Thanksgiving meal, you will need to arrange and possibly provide transportation for the students who will join you.
Note: UC is requiring all students to be fully vaccinated by November 15. See this link for further information about COVID-19 / IFI / The University. IFI Cincy recommends:
- 10 or fewer people total at your dinner
- no guests from outside the greater Cincinnati area (some exceptions may apply)
This is a very popular activity for students since it is a uniquely North American holiday, and many past participants have developed life-changing friendships during their Thanksgiving experience.
If you have an international friend that you would like to invite to your dinner, you will have an opportunity to give them early access to sign up.
Time of meal is according to your schedule. Please provide us the time of your meal when you register.
Thank you for your interest in being a Thanksgiving Host with IFI Cincy!
